IP rotation

I am using so many IPs for warmup and I have thousands of users.

You provide warmup services?

No exactly, we are just warming up our /24 pool.

Can you please tell me in more detail how can I divide my pool here.

Can we send 1M emails per day from single IP address?
and since you asked the daily sending volume is 5M per day.

You keep asking how to do the wrong thing, and haven’t given enough context to recommend the right thing.

How did you previously do this?

Here is my setup in very detail.

I am using KumoMTA as a relay host for a single domain configured in Postfix, which serves 24,000 users spread across multiple servers.

All these servers are configured to use KumoMTA as their relay host. I am preparing to start a warmup process for my IP pool, which consists of a /24 subnet with 240 IP addresses.

For this warmup, I plan to utilize all 240 IPs in a single pool with a daily sending limit of 5 million emails. Given this setup, I have a couple of questions.

  1. Is it feasible to send 1 million emails per day from a single IP address, and if so, how long would it take to reach this volume per IP?

  2. Considering our daily sending volume of 5 million emails, can we effectively achieve this with fewer IPs, or is it necessary to use all 240 IPs?

  3. Lastly, for sending 5 million emails per day from a single domain, how many IP addresses would be recommended for safe and effective operation?

Please ask if any other detail is required here.

With a good reputation? one. maybe two

We managed to get Good IP reputation under 30 days in Talos Inteligence.

But we never crossed 50K volume for 1 IP

You sure we can make this work like 5M email volume with 1 IP
How long of warmup do you reccomend to reach this volume of 5M emails?
Remember this, These are new ips with no email histroy what’s ever.

That depends very much on the nature of what you’re sending and to whom.

We send finance emails to 3rd party list! The quality of list is very good, List hygiene is very optimal! our average open rates are around 15% to 20%

2M of this 5M is purely warmup emails to balance out any spam complaints and reputation issues we may encounter.
Mostly we email to personal email addresses not the work emails!

So unsolicited mail.

Not complete unsolicited we send it on behalf of client! Unsubscribe headers are present and we opt out people real time from the list! I agree most part of this is cold email.

We never experimented more than 50K email per IP!

Then I wish you luck, but will be unable to assist
