Do you have any suggestions on how I can debug this issue? The host responds when tested via Telnet, though the 220 banner appears a bit slow. That said, it’s still within the default banner_timeout of 60 seconds.

Two of my MTAs tried sending the email and had the same issue

I have also encountered it. I guessed that isp rejected my connections , probably because it was sent too fast or unpopular, because it could be connected at the beginning.
