Hello,

I followed the guide on the website, but I’m stuck with the config file, should I change something in it or just copy and paste it as it is ?

What guide did you follow? In general for the Example Configuration (Example Server Policy - KumoMTA Docs) you certainly will need to make some changes to make it work in you platform/environment.

Well if I only look at that init.lua file then you would need to change the relay_hosts and the hostname for example. In addition you will need to create and fill in all .toml files which are mentioned in the init.lua file. But if you answer what you already did and what errors you get, then helping out is easier. Also follow up on the Cakey Bot.

Now I’m following the video
After I install telnet and type this command telnet localhost 25
I get this :

Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused

It sounds like you only installed it but did not run it. Did you follow all the steps here?
