I am new to kumomta , just asking if it’s compatible with mailwizz and a proper road map in installing kumomta will be appreciated by me, im having deliverability issues when sending out bulk emails. Especially to gmail
Running your own MTA will not solve deliverability issues, in fact if you don’t know what you’re doing it’s likely going to make things much worse.
I am familiar with mailwizz , im just looking for an mta to use with it, I’ve been researching and I got a referral by postmastery to use kumo mta, I want to learn and be able to integrate both for better delivery and Ip rotation.
The documentation at https://docs.kumomta.com will have all the information you need on installing and configuring KumoMTA. It will be an SMTP listener, the MailWizz side of things is outside our wheelhouse so you’ll need to consult their docs.
Please sir, what solves deliverability issues? I set my dkim, dmarc , spf , postmaster records according and still get rejections. So I am looking for alternatives to fix that and I ran in powermta, from there and research with postmastery I got a referral to source for the kumomta. Just looking for better options for my email deliverability.
The core fundamental principle is that you are sending people what they want and expect. All the rest is in vain if your mail isn’t opt-in and wanted.
So the kumo mta will not increase deliverability and the amount of emails I send ?
Will a faster car make you a better driver or just make a crash worse?
ha ha ha i do not want to crash boss, i just want a safer option in handling my email delivery, by setting my headers myself to the expectation of other ESP(email service provider). Is this achievable with the kumomta ?
It’s all there in the docs, try giving them a read, I spent a lot of time writing them. ![]()
First rule is to only send mail which people asked for. Send with recognizable domains and matching content to the domain name. If that is not the case you are on the backfoot.
Then as Mike stated.. sort out SPF records, DKIM and DMARC and get that setup properly for yout sending domain.
If that is all sorted any MTA can send your mails properly. Only when sending larger volumes KumoMTA has a few bells and whistles to adjust mail delivery to responses of ESPs, giving less stress on queue management and such.

Thank you sir for your reply, can you walk me through the kumomta set up , im new to MTA and i need a mentor. best regards
