I am having a spool of size 48GB, and the spool contains .sst file of date 24 October, please let me know is there any issue with spool file

I’d strongly suggest updating from the 05-08 release, you’re pretty far behind at this point and dev moves quickly.

That really is the first step. You’re not current so you’re missing any fixes that may help with this issue. Otherwise since in theory your server is empty you could shut down, empty the spool path, and start up again, but that won’t likely be a permanent fix.

If I take a restart in that case will service will start picking the spool and try relay the email?

I’d suggest you try and see.

I’d recommend looking in the systemd journal to see what it might be telling you about the state of the service
