what I’d recommend is: try restarting kumod to see if that kicks in a compaction run, and if that doesn’t help, I’d suggest upgrading to a newer build

what if I clear all the .sst file?
if you restart kumod and the systemd journal says that there were 0 messages in the spool when enumerating, and the queue-summary command also shows zero message, then you should be safe to remove the contents of the spool location
that is probably what I would do in this situation
